Developed by Lou Forlini of System Support Products, the Key Holder application provides a handy means of storing the login info for all your online accounts. From a single location you have a clear view of all your online accounts; press a hotkey and you can easily access the website associated with an account or copy the password for that account.

You can install Key Holder on top of a PC powered by Windows XP or a newer version of the Microsoft-developed operating system. A simple setup wizard will help you install Key Holder; just download a 1.3MB executable and run it to be presented with the aforementioned setup wizard.

From top to bottom, this is what you will see on Key Holder’s interface: a traditional File Menu; a search box to easily find one of your accounts; a list of all the accounts that you’ve added to the application; info on a selected account. By default the application uses a vertical display; you can change it to a horizontal one.

There are two things you must do to take advantage of the functionality Key Holder has to offer.
The first one is to add all the accounts you want Key Holder to store. Just hit the + (plus) sign on the application’s interface and you will easily be able to add an account; you will have to enter an account name, username, password, URL, and memo.

The second one is to familiarize yourself with the application’s hotkeys. To access the URL associated with an account, you have to hit Ctrl+U, for example. Key Holder provides support for several other hotkeys and if you want to use the application as efficiently as possible, then you should familiarize yourself with all of them.

As mentioned above, Key Holder securely stores all your login info. You can set a password to protect access to the info stored by Key Holder.

For 30 days you can use Key Holder free of charge. Once this evaluation period expires, you will have to get a license to keep using this password manager.

Easily store your login info and quickly access your online accounts by using the Key Holder application for Windows.

Pros

Easily install Key Holder on a PC powered by Windows XP or newer. Switch between vertical and horizontal view. Support for hotkeys is provided; you can hit Ctrl+U and access the URL associated with an account, for example. You can password protect access to Key Holder.

Cons

Free to use for a 30-day evaluation period.
